Update, update, update

I know … I know. It’s been a long time since I’ve written a blog post. Sorry!

It’s not for any lack of information–there are a lot of great things coming up, like a tour stop with the fabulous Jennifer L. Armentrout, with special guests Kristi Cook and myself at one of the best bookstores in the world, The Voracious Reader, in Larchmont NY on November 10.

By the way, if you can’t make it and you want SIGNED books from any author at the event, our amazing blogger friends at Good Choice Reading have got you covered. You can purchase in advance via their event page on the Good Choice Reading website and they will ship your personalized books anywhere in the US if you can’t make it in person to the event–how fabulous is that?

I’ve also done quite a few interviews, guest posts and giveaways on several blogs, including a Halloween Short Story for Bloodspell and a Bully Post for the National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month, going on now. Check it out–you will be inspired by some of the posts from some of your favorite authors.

Kristi Cook and I had a terrific Teen Writing Workshop at the Larchmont Library for 5th to 8th graders earlier this month, where nearly every single participant read their story out loud at the end. We were both so impressed with the quality of ideas and their writing skills. We are planning to host a Part 2 of this workshop as well as a repeat of the Intro Creative Writing Workshop sometime in January.

My agent is also working tirelessly on getting my available manuscripts out on submission, so fingers crossed on that too. On top of all of that, I’ve been logging some hard hours on my new WIP, a contemporary YA thriller. I’m very excited about this project because I think it’s going to bring something different to the table.

Stay tuned for more!
