The Vampire Diaries CW TV Show – Episode 4

OMG. I completely enjoyed this episode! If only for the wicked rip against Twilight – because as much as I enjoyed the books, I am just not a believer in sparkling vampires. They drink blood. They’re undead. They don’t fricken sparkle.

Let me paraphrase the conversation between Damon and Caroline for those who missed it or those who simply want to enjoy it again:-

Damon: “I miss Anne Rice. She was so on it.”

Caroline: “How come you don’t sparkle.”

Damon: “Because I live in the real world where vampires burn in the sun….This book has it all wrong.”

JUST PRICELESS!

That said, The Vampire Diaries is definitely getting better and better, week after week. Believable beginning this time with neat show of vampires powers. Love the dynamic between the brothers. On the flip side, Elena’s acting is still a little wooden at times and I’m getting tired of the Jeremy/Vicki/Tyler triangle. FANTASTIC ending, way to mix it up…I can’t wait to see next week’s show!
