March 10, 2013 at 8:14 pm (11 years ago)I thought they did a great job with The Hunger Games, keeping the spirit of the book. Congratulations on all of your good news!!

March 10, 2013 at 7:28 am (11 years ago)The best would be The Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games and Harry Potter

March 9, 2013 at 7:03 am (11 years ago)best is harry potter series… 🙂

March 8, 2013 at 9:31 pm (11 years ago)Congratulations Amalie! I think LOTR was done really well and THG was pretty great too. I actually wasn’t such a huge fan of the Harry Potter adaptations (except for 1 & 2), because they didn’t really follow the books too well. The books were amazing, so really any adaptation would be subpar in comparison.

March 8, 2013 at 4:28 am (11 years ago)Like everyone else, I’m going with Harry Potter, but Spiderwick was pretty great too! 🙂 I am Number Four was a huge disappointment. I have mixed feelings about The Lightning Thief- as a movie, it was awesome. As a book to movie adaptation, it sucked. 😉

March 7, 2013 at 11:38 pm (11 years ago)The best is Harry Potter and about the worst I didn’t like how they make The Hunger Games >.<
Bea Tejano
March 7, 2013 at 4:32 am (11 years ago)The best book adaptation for me has definitely got to be Game of Thrones, its not film but the television series is just absolutely so well done!
Kelly L.
March 6, 2013 at 9:22 pm (11 years ago)Worse is definitely The Lightning Thief. Nearly EVERYTHING was changed.
Best, I really don’t know.
Estela
March 6, 2013 at 9:12 pm (11 years ago)Worst movie was Eragon!!!

March 6, 2013 at 1:21 pm (11 years ago)I think the best is Harry Potter (although I am not a big fan of both the books and the movies, I realize that the movies are nicely done and pretty addicive too -wait, is addictive a perfect word for it? IDC lol-). hmm he worst should be Twilight (although ironically I love the books and the casts of the movies -the casts suck at acting-)

March 6, 2013 at 11:39 am (11 years ago)The best are definitely The Lord of the Rings. There’s no comparison. That level of dedication and attention to detail could only be achieved by true fans and masters of the craft. Worst are Blood and Chocolate and Eragon. Neither movie felt the need to actually stick to the source material. They just stole the name and wrote completely different plots. Ithonestly felt like they were vaguely plagiarizing rather than adapting each book.

March 6, 2013 at 10:23 am (11 years ago)First of all CONGRATS on your AWESOME book deals! I’m SO excited and happy for you! And now to answer the question, I guess the best book-to-film adaption has to be Harry Potter and Woman in Black 🙂
Tiffany B.
March 6, 2013 at 2:19 am (11 years ago)Probably Beautiful Creatures.

March 4, 2013 at 9:49 pm (11 years ago)Congrats Amalie!! I can’t wait for your new books!!! <3 <3 <3

Frida
March 4, 2013 at 6:32 am (11 years ago)I think Harry Potter, LoTR and Hunger Games are all very good book to film adaptations. Can’t really pick a favorite.
Thank you for the giveaway! 🙂
Kierra
March 3, 2013 at 6:58 pm (11 years ago)The worst ever was The Lightning Thief…and the best was probably Harry Potter.
Vivien
March 2, 2013 at 11:31 pm (11 years ago)My favorite is Lord of the Rings

March 2, 2013 at 12:57 pm (11 years ago)Harry Potter is the best adaptation in my POV. Now I’m also excited to see Matched and Vampire Academy =)

March 2, 2013 at 12:04 am (11 years ago)Best book to film adaptation is definitely Harry Potter….all of them!

March 1, 2013 at 3:32 pm (11 years ago)As much as I like Twilight, I wasn’t particularly happy with all the changes they made in the movie as opposed to the book.
Leah
March 1, 2013 at 1:26 pm (11 years ago)Best one is probably the final book in the Harry Potter series and the worst by far is Twilight, they ruined one of my childhood books haha.
Massive congrats to you too!
Jassie
February 28, 2013 at 10:45 pm (11 years ago)Perks of being a Wallflower is the best film adaptation to me 🙂 It was perfect with everything, it cut the portions not entirely needed but the whole gist is there. That even if you didn’t read the book, you will get it. I had friends who watched it that didn’t read the book and just need little clarification to get the whole picture 😀

February 28, 2013 at 12:56 am (11 years ago)Hi Amalie! Congratulations! Okay the best film adaptation would be the Harry Potter series! Thanks for the giveaway! I hope I win!
Andrea N.
February 27, 2013 at 11:57 pm (11 years ago)Twilight it was a serious disappointment 🙁
Alexandra
February 27, 2013 at 8:32 pm (11 years ago)Honestly, Perks of Being a Wallflower was one of the very few times where I liked the movie better than I liked the book.
Thanks for the chance to win! (:

February 27, 2013 at 8:14 pm (11 years ago)YAY! *throws confetti everywhere* Congrats, Amalie, you awesome lady, you! ! I’m gonna bring the fangirling we’re having on twitter to here! 🙂 You’re going to be pretty busy soon promoting all those pretties <3 Is it 2014 yet? I'll be counting the days until your books releases so I can read them all!
Best book to movie adaptation… I'm torn between Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. I was a sobbing mess 10 minutes into Hunger Games, but Harry Potter is just so good, and that's 7 movies/books of awesomeness. I'll say both! Flipped is really good as well. (The worst would have to be Twilight…)

February 27, 2013 at 7:27 pm (11 years ago)Amalie, I love you! Congratulations babe!! You deserve it!
Brittany Ashby
February 27, 2013 at 6:07 pm (11 years ago)I’d probably have to go with The Lightning Thief. It was a good movie but as far as the book goes, it completely took a different path.

February 27, 2013 at 2:01 pm (11 years ago)Hi! Thanks for this chance! I only saw twillight movies and I guess their were ok. I liked Harry Potter but never read the books so I can’t say! I didn’t finish Beautiful Creature but I want to see the movie and I’m waiting for the Host!

February 27, 2013 at 8:29 am (11 years ago)I would have said Harry Potter, until Beautiful Creatures came out this year. Love!!
Dragana M. (@BookwormDreams)
February 27, 2013 at 8:27 am (11 years ago)The best movie adaptation I watched was probably Stardust by Neil Gaiman – I liked it so much more than the book. I also liked Chronicles of Narnia more like a movie than a book.
Thanks for an awesome giveaway! 🙂
Ashfa Anwer
February 27, 2013 at 6:06 am (11 years ago)The first two Harry potter movies and Narnia.
Dream
February 26, 2013 at 8:29 pm (11 years ago)I would have to say the best one was the LOTR series.
xxjackoxxt
February 26, 2013 at 5:53 pm (11 years ago)I think Harry Potter is the best and Twilight was the worst.
Thanks for the giveaway : )
Kayla Reichenbach
February 26, 2013 at 5:51 pm (11 years ago)The best that I can think of that comes to mind would probably be the first Twilight, because even though it wasn’t the best movie of all time, it did really well with corrosponding almost exactly with the book.
The worst though, would be The Lightning Theif, I was so disappointed with that movie. And I think I may have liked it if I hadn’t read the book first… but I did, so that ruined the whole experience for me. Nothing at all like the book.

February 26, 2013 at 5:26 pm (11 years ago)Omg, congrats sweetie 😀 That is so so amazing. <3 Also, I adore you. Well. I really hated the I Am Number Four movie 🙁 I loved the book.. Ugh. And the Darren Shan / Cirque De Freak movie. I only watched 15 minutes of it. Did not like. And omg. I just LOVE that book series so much, so that was very disappointing :\ I would say the best must be Lord of the Rings 🙂 Although I still haven't read the books.. heh 😀 Anyway. Thank you so much for this perfect giveaway. <3
Love, Carina Olsen

February 26, 2013 at 1:08 pm (11 years ago)I would have to say the best being Harry Potter, the worst one being, form me was probably Beautiful Creatures. I loved it, but felt they left a bit out, even whole characters.. but that is just my opinion. 🙂 CONGRATS on all the book news!!
Teresa
February 26, 2013 at 12:38 pm (11 years ago)ummm hmmmm well I was pretty upset with how they did Beautiful Creatures…. but best would probably be The Hunger Games, I thought they did that one well!
Thanks for being awesome!
